About the book

With fireflies shining bright in the dark, tea expert Theodosia organizes a fancy evening tea at the Tangled Rose B and B's patio. Unfortunately, amidst the peaceful ambiance, an intruder manages to sneak in and poison Mrs. Van Courtland's Baked Alaska with deadly drugs. Determined to uncover the truth, Theodosia launches her own investigation at the request of Mrs. Van Courtland's son.

Her inquiry leads her to cross paths with a developer driven by greed, the suspicious occupants of Honey Badger House, a bitter ex-daughter-in-law, various shady family members, and a housekeeper privy to all the secrets. While hosting a Moulin Rouge Tea and a Queen Victoria Tea, Theodosia's tea sommelier, Drayton, is attacked by an unknown assailant, and Mrs. Van Courtland's son's fiancée is abducted.

Everything finally comes to a head at the Starry Starry Night black-tie event, where Theodosia uncovers the killer and becomes entangled in a thrilling chase for life and death.
