About the book

The Lankies, alien forces, are assembling at the edge of the solar system, moving closer to conquering Mars and targeting Earth. New Svalbard, a distant colony isolated by the Lanky blockade, is facing the threat of starvation and collapse. Despite winning small battles, the Earth alliances are at risk of losing the overall war. Staff sergeant Andrew Grayson and the worn-out troops of the North American Commonwealth are facing a critical phase in their fight for survival.

In a risky move, the NAC forms a temporary alliance with their Sino-Russian adversaries and initiates a covert mission to break through the Lanky blockade and restore supply connections with Earth. Engaging in battles against a superior alien race that outmatches them in every aspect, Andrew and his comrades may find themselves trapped on their own turf with no means of escape or reinforcement. The outcome of this battle will determine the fate of humanity, with only victory or total destruction as possible endings.
