About the book

The Halloween Parade is quickly approaching and Merry Wrath's Girl Scout Troop is aiming to win a 1st place trophy for the third year in a row. However, their plans take a dark turn when they stumble upon a deceased woman dressed as a witch, a mysterious treasure, and a harrowing kidnapping incident. It seems like Merry is about to face a different kind of challenge this year.

To make matters worse, Merry's mother is visiting, which means she has to replace all the furniture in the guest room that was shot up during a previous incident. As if that wasn't enough, with her wedding date coming up, her fiancé's eccentric taxidermist sisters are adamant about taking charge of the wedding decorations.

Amidst all the chaos with her family and the unsolved mystery of the deceased witch, Merry's mind is racing faster than an apple in a bobbing barrel. Who could have wanted the witch dead? Will this Halloween turn out to be a treat, or has Merry fallen victim to a clever trick?
