Merry Wrath has been away from the spy business for so long that she believes the CIA has forgotten all about her. Living in the quiet suburb of Who's There, Iowa is a stark contrast to her past life with the Company. As long as her Girl Scout Troop doesn't accidentally set fire to her garage (again), Merry is considering getting rid of all the explosives and traps she's been hiding in her basement once and for all. However, her plans are derailed when assassin Hilly Vinton (who technically isn't an assassin according to the CIA...but really is) arrives with a Termination Contract targeting Merry.

Initially, Merry thinks it must be an elaborate joke. That is until she discovers that the contract has also been sent to the Russians, Chechens, and Colombian cartels. Soon, her small town is overrun with dangerous individuals. As the bodies start piling up, Merry is torn between fleeing (Hilly's preferred option) or staying to safeguard Who's There. With so many uncertainties, will she be able to unravel the mystery of the murders before becoming a victim herself? Should she leave or stand her ground? And why is the CIA intent on eliminating Merry Wrath?
