When an old childhood friend comes to Henri for help in solving his parents’ murders, Henri immediately agrees. He understands that this case will be challenging. The bodies of Mr. and Mrs. Atwood were found mysteriously posed like a statue, but the investigator concluded it was a murder-suicide, a theory that the Atwood children dispute.

Knowing that this is a high-profile case and all eyes will be on them, the team journeys to the Atwoods’ vacation home. To their dismay, most of the trace evidence has been destroyed due to incompetence, the bodies are not properly preserved, and the case file consists of just a single page of notes. To make matters worse, the local police force is hostile towards them.

With a series of suspicious burglaries, compromised wards, arson, and a suspect determined to hide the truth at any cost, Jamie and Henri find themselves on the brink of committing murder themselves.
