Alexene Farol Follmuth, also known as Olivie Blake, is a passionate storyteller who delves into the realms of fantasy, the paranormal, and the supernatural in her writing. However, her works also explore the human experience, the complexities of life and love, and what it means to be truly alive. Alexene stumbled upon writing after veering off her planned path towards Optimum Life Achievement while in law school. Now, she dedicates her time to perfecting the art of fiction writing. As Olivie Blake, she has been featured as a fiction contributor in Witch Way Magazine, and has created the self-published graphic series Alpha, among other works. Under her real name, Alexene, her first YA novel, My Mechanical Romance, is set to be released in the summer of 2022 by Holiday House. Residing in Los Angeles, Alexene shares her home with her rescue pit bull, who tolerates her presence. She has a unique hobby of practicing sparring to enhance her ability to write compelling fight scenes.
