The Ghost Brigades, known as the Special Forces of the Colonial Defense Forces, are elite troops engineered from the DNA of deceased individuals to serve as the ultimate soldiers for the most challenging missions of the CDF. They are young, agile, powerful, and devoid of typical human emotions.

In a dangerous universe for humanity, the threat intensifies as three hostile races form an alliance to impede human progress in space. Jared Dirac, a unique human with superhuman abilities crafted from Boutin's DNA, is the sole individual capable of unlocking the answers by accessing Boutin's electronic memories. But after an apparent failure in the memory transfer, Jared is transferred to the Ghost Brigades.

Initially excelling as a Ghost Brigade soldier, Jared gradually uncovers Boutin's reasons for betrayal as his memories resurface. In his quest to locate his "father," Jared must confront his own decisions. With time running out and the alliance preparing for an assault, humanity faces dire consequences beyond military defeat...
