Fay Keenan

Fay Keenan was born in Surrey and raised in Hampshire before relocating to the West Country during her teenage years. She pursued a degree in English and Politics at the University of York while also gaining experience in wildfowl spotting and avoiding goose droppings. Throughout her career, Fay has contributed articles to various education publications, including the Media Magazine from the English and Media Centres. Although she has dabbled in different genres like fanfiction, The Little Somerby series marks her debut in novel-length fiction, with The Second Chance Tea Shop as the starting point. When she is not busy with her children or writing, Fay shares her passion for English by teaching at a local secondary school in the West Country. She resides in Somerset with her husband, two daughters, two cats, two chickens, and a Weimaraner named Bertie in a picturesque village that may have served as the inspiration for Little Somerby.
