Victoria Connelly

Victoria Connelly is a well-known author, with her popular Austen Addicts series focusing on Jane Austen enthusiasts. The series includes titles such as A Weekend with Mr Darcy, The Perfect Hero (known as 'Dreaming of Mr Darcy' in the US), Mr Darcy Forever, Christmas with Mr Darcy, and Happy Birthday Mr Darcy. In addition to her success with the Austen Addicts books, Victoria has also had her work translated into numerous languages, with three of her magical romances published in Germany. Notably, her first book to be made into a film was Flights of Angels, which she and her husband had the unique opportunity to experience as extras during filming in Berlin. Beyond her romances and film adaptations, Victoria has also authored a number of romantic comedies, including The Runaway Actress, which was a nominee for the Best Romantic Comedy of the Year by the Romantic Novelists' Association. Originally from Norfolk, Victoria eventually settled in Yorkshire where she tied the knot in a medieval castle before relocating to London for over a decade. Currently residing in rural Suffolk, she shares a quaint Georgian cottage with her artist husband, a lively Springer spaniel, and a few ex-battery hens. Victoria has chronicled her country life adventures in two autobiographical volumes, Escape to Mulberry Cottage and A Year at Mulberry Cottage.
