About the book

Self-sabotage is a foreign concept to Xavier, until he finds himself at Hathaway House - his application mistakenly submitted along with his friend's. Although Xavier is accepted into the program, his friend is not, causing Xavier to grapple with feelings of guilt and struggle. His arrival at Hathaway is tinged with sadness, as he knows his friend is in the hospital.

Tilly, a patient coordinator at Hathaway House, observes Xavier's arrival and can sense his inner turmoil. Despite his physical and emotional challenges, Tilly believes Xavier has the potential to thrive at Hathaway House if he can focus on his own journey.
