He returned seeking some easy victories, only to be caught off guard by a surprise attack from Midgard.

Joe the Ritualist has finally discovered a sense of belonging in Vanaheim, at the Tower of Ritualists. To his joy, he is welcomed by Masters in his field, a Grandmaster about to reach the next level, and a solution to his most obvious weaknesses.

Entering the tower briefly before being instructed to leave once more, Joe receives a mission from the future Sage: depart Vanaheim for a different realm, master the ways of combat ritualism, enhance his fundamental abilities, and come back with a Mythic core no matter how long it may take.

There is much for him to achieve on Midgard. His guild, town, and Pathfinders Hall are in need of improvement. Furthermore, there are few places in Eternium where he can emerge victorious using only basic rituals. Unfortunately, Joe's adversaries have not been idle during his absence. They have been patiently waiting. The Ritualist's comeback sets off a response years in the making, but they have committed a critical error.

He has already confirmed his attendance, and Joe will not miss his mother's special day - even if he must step back and let chaos reign.
