Almost three years after my husband Jim passed away from ALS, I am starting to come out of the haze of being a widow, largely thanks to my attractive roommate - and former high school crush - Tom Hammett. When he offered me a place in his large home, it allowed me to move out of my parents' basement where I had been living with Jim during his illness and after his passing. However, now Tom is facing a health crisis and I am unsure if I can handle going through that again, even though I am beginning to suspect that I may be falling for him.
