About the book

Despite a challenging start at Hathaway House and a complete change in perspective, Ryatt continues to struggle to find his footing at the center. The return of his sister has had a greater impact on him than he anticipated. He had hoped that being here would guarantee him a smoother path ahead, but it seems that is not the case. Now, he is determined to make real progress and lasting changes in order to create the future he so desperately craves.

Lana has always approached life with a cheerful, playful attitude. She finds joy in her work at Hathaway, especially when interacting with the patients and staff. While most patients are open and friendly, there are some, like Ryatt, who are more reserved and grumpy. Despite his dark and broken demeanor, Lana is drawn to the depths of his soul.

She wonders if she can show him a different way to experience life and see the world. She is hopeful that she can, as he has already helped her discover so much about herself.
