Team Cinderella has been deployed to Russia for the purpose of staging an assassination of a Russian Deputy Minister to conceal his defection to the United States. Despite successfully carrying out the mission, they are later compromised and taken captive during their escape. The US Secretary of State disowns them and orders a public execution in Red Square within a week.

At Neil's insistence, Noah convinces Allison to allow Team Camelot to organize a rescue operation. However, things go awry, leading Noah and Marco to infiltrate Lefortovo Prison where they are also apprehended.

With their status disavowed, it appears that Noah and his team are doomed. Nevertheless, Sarah and Neil go against orders and mount their own daring rescue attempt. In a desperate move, Sarah seeks assistance from Monique, a former traitor who previously betrayed her to the Chinese authorities. Racing against time and facing insurmountable obstacles, the outcome remains uncertain.
