Logan Dodge is heading back home in his truck through the Florida Keys when he picks up a young hitchhiker. The ride is uneventful, and Logan doesn't think much of it until a detective appears at his door the next day.
The detective informs Logan that the hitchhiker is a suspect in a recent double murder - the victims being the hitchhiker's mother and her boyfriend, a high-ranking member of a dangerous gang in Sarasota.
Initially, the situation seems straightforward. However, Logan, a former Navy SEAL, knows better than to trust appearances. He decides to conduct his own investigation, only to uncover a complex web of deception and violence. As he delves deeper, the situation becomes more absurd, and Logan finds himself entangled in a dangerous battle against ruthless adversaries.
