About the book

Despite the appearance of a typical suburban life, Maureen's reality is far from ordinary. At 54 years old, she is a housewife in Pennsylvania with two children, grandchildren, and a husband to care for. However, behind closed doors, she faces daily verbal abuse with cruel labels like "fat bitch," "dumb bunny," "slut," and "tramp."

Only Maureen and her late husband, Tommy, know the dark secret she has carried for years. When Tommy passes away, she hopes that the torment is finally over. But six months later, while searching for Halloween decorations in the attic, Maureen discovers a gift-wrapped GPS device with her name on it, a birthday present from her deceased husband.

As the GPS begins giving her chilling instructions, Maureen realizes that even in death, Tommy continues to control her life. She soon finds herself in a battle for not only her life but her very soul, as she learns that the restless dead can still haunt the living.
