While on a trip to Georgia to visit her father, M. J. Holliday becomes trapped in a haunted mansion and uncovers a chilling truth - The South will rise again, but this time from the dead.

M. J. has always had a strained relationship with her father ever since her mother passed away over twenty years ago. However, when M. J., her boyfriend Heath, and her best friend Gilley decide to take a break from their show, Ghoul Getters, and visit her family home in Valdosta, Georgia, they are surprised to find Montgomery Holliday a changed man. His newfound joy seems to stem from his fiancée, the delightful Christine Bigelow. Yet, beneath the surface of their happiness lies a daunting obstacle - the antebellum mansion that Christine is having restored.

Following a series of eerie mishaps, the construction crew becomes convinced that the mansion is cursed, leading the contractor to abandon the project. At Christine's request, M. J. and her companions agree to investigate whether they are facing malevolent forces and a haunted plantation home.
