About the book

After retiring from teaching, Gwen Franklin has taken on a new venture with her best friend Nora - 2 Sisters Pet Valet Services. Their latest assignment leads them to the annual Clear the Shelter event, organized by the famous local news anchor, Babs Prescott. However, things take a dark turn when Babs is found dead after a press conference.

The prime suspect in the case is none other than Shelby Tucker, a former student of Gwen's and a respected crime reporter. Gwen is convinced of Shelby's innocence and decides to investigate the murder herself along with Nora.
