Enjoying a well-deserved break from the spooky world of their reality TV series, Ghoul Getters, psychic medium M. J. Holliday, her boyfriend Heath, and her best friend Gilley are back in Boston. However, their ghost-busting skills are quickly put to the test when M. J.'s ex asks for their help - his fiance's brother Luke appears to be plagued by a malevolent spirit.

To investigate, the team sets up surveillance cameras to monitor the ghost's movements while Luke sleeps. But their concern escalates when Luke goes missing in the middle of the night and returns hours later with blood on his hands, coinciding with reports of a young woman's murder in the area.

Now, M. J., Heath, and Gilley must keep a level head as they confront a malicious ghost whose actions are far from friendly.
