About the book

Another exciting addition to the Bakeshop Series takes place in the charming town of Ashland, Oregon!

Baker Jules Capshaw, her husband Carlos, and Torte’s barista Andy are getting ready for a special coffee adventure in Costa Rica. Thanks to an invite from Carlos’s friend Valentina, they are off to experience the best coffee in the world with a tour of her family's organic coffee farm.

They enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica, from the lush landscape to the delicious traditional meals provided by Valentina. She is planning to open a coffee shop and bakery on the farm and values Jules' input on new recipes.

This vacation is a much-needed break for Jules, giving her time to relax by the pool, read a book, and test out new recipes in Valentina's kitchen. However, the trip takes a dark turn when a worker is found dead on the farm. Jules must now solve the mystery before another member of Torte's team becomes a victim.
