Harriet and Wyn had always been the epitome of the perfect couple ever since they first met in college - they complemented each other like salt and pepper, honey and tea, lobster and rolls. However, for some undisclosed reasons, they are no longer together.

It has been five months since they broke up, yet they have not mustered the courage to inform their closest friends about it.

Thus, they now find themselves sharing a bedroom at the Maine cottage that has served as their friend group's annual retreat for the past ten years. This getaway allows them to escape their routine lives, indulge in plenty of cheese, wine, and seafood, and breathe in the refreshing coastal air with the people who truly understand them.

Yet, this year is different. Harriet and Wyn are putting on a facade, pretending not to acknowledge the lingering desire they still feel for each other. With the cottage up for sale, this will be their last week together in this cherished place. They refuse to shatter their friends' hearts, so they will maintain their charade. Harriet will play the role of the dedicated surgical resident who avoids conflict, while Wyn will be the easygoing charmer who conceals any cracks in their facade.
