When Wanda Alewine, a psychic and hubcap retailer, shows up at Myrtle Clover's doorstep late at night, she insists that the elderly sleuth go straight to Greener Pastures Retirement Home. However, Wanda isn't concerned about the Home's questionable facilities - she is warning Myrtle about a vision she had of a murder that needs to be prevented. Myrtle, reluctant at first, teams up with her sidekick Miles to investigate. While Miles is more intrigued by Greener Pastures than Myrtle, the two uncover more than just puzzle games like Sudoku and Scrabble - they stumble upon a dark undercurrent that ultimately leads to murder.
