Spring has arrived in Bradley, North Carolina, and the community is abuzz with excitement as the local garden club gets ready for their yearly Festival of Flowers. Myrtle Clover, who is in her eighties, is looking forward to showcasing her exhibit and has even convinced her friends Wanda and Miles to join the competition.

However, things take a sinister turn at the festival when Myrtle discovers the body of one of the judges while trying to sneak a peek at the other entries. With the police struggling to crack the case, Myrtle decides to take matters into her own hands. Can she and her trusty sidekick unravel the mystery behind the murder?
