About the book
During the early twentieth century, in a secluded valley in Pennsylvania, St. Vincent's was a place where thirty boys were under the care of several priests. They worked, learned, and worshiped in the safety of the valley. Among them was Peter Barlow, who had lost his parents to a horrific murder when he was just a child. St. Vincent's had become his new home, where he had found friends, a promising future, and a sense of family.
However, one fateful night, as a violent storm raged outside, a group of mysterious men appeared at the doorstep of St. Vincent's. One of them was gravely injured, his body marked with strange symbols. His death triggered a malevolent force that began to seep through the walls of the institution, infecting the children within. Soon, the boys started to exhibit strange behaviors, forming factions and turning against each other. Tragedy struck as some of them were found lifeless.
Now, Peter and his loved ones find themselves caught in the midst of a supernatural battle, where they must make choices that could jeopardize not only their lives but also their very souls. The haunting presence at St. Vincent's threatens to consume them all, testing their loyalties and faith in ways they never imagined.
