
Antonia Fraser

Since 1969, Antonia Fraser has authored a number of highly regarded historical works that have achieved global success, such as Marie Antoinette, Mary Queen of Scots (winner of the James Tait Black Memorial Prize), Cromwell: Our Chief of Men, The Six Wives of Henry VIII, and The Gunpowder Plot: Terror and Faith in 1605 (recipient of the St Louis Literary Award and the CWA Non-Fiction Gold Dagger).
Antonia Fraser was appointed CBE in 1999 and received the Norton Medlicott Medal from the Historical Association in 2000. She is married to the renowned playwright Harold Pinter and currently resides in London.
