Louise Candlish, a talented author, has written seven captivating novels that have been highly successful, with titles such as Since I Don't Have You, The Second Husband, and Before We Say Goodbye. After completing her studies in English at University College London, Louise explored different career paths, working as a travel writer, art book editor, and copywriter. It was during a holiday in Sicily that she decided to embark on her first novel on a whim. Her novels are known for their emotional depth, often set in foreign locales where characters are portrayed in a unique light compared to their lives back home. Her book Other People's Secrets, published by Sphere in July 2010, is based in Orta San Giulio in the Italian Lakes, a place where Louise spent several weeks conducting research (despite the rainy weather). She currently resides in South London with her partner and daughter, earning recognition for her talent with awards such as the Nibbies in 2019.
