About the book

The world is undergoing significant changes: the government has taken control of every aspect of society, resulting in the sudden disappearance of children. When 15-year-old Wisty and her older brother Whit are forcibly separated from their parents and thrown into a mysterious prison without any justification, their lives are turned upside down. The oppressive regime known as the New Order is clearly attempting to suppress the fundamental rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Being a Normal Teenager.

However, while imprisoned in this dictatorial dystopia, Wisty and Whit stumble upon latent extraordinary abilities they had never imagined possessing. As a newly discovered witch and wizard, can they harness these newfound powers in time to rescue themselves, their parents, and quite possibly the entire world?
