Walton Headly enjoys staying active despite his missing leg. However, adapting to playing soccer now is challenging compared to before his injury. After a long period of rehab, he feels the need to do more and decides to search for a missing War Dog as a way to ease back into a working life.

Physical therapist Chelsea Brown played a crucial role in helping Walton get back on his feet. Despite being a resilient individual, he is struggling after his last soccer game. Chelsea suggests reaching out to her older brother at his hunting lodge for any information on the missing War Dog. What unfolds is beyond their expectations as they head north to visit her brother and the newly arrived dog.

Discovering that the guests are not ordinary hunters and the dog is not an ordinary dog leads to immediate conflict. The situation continues to deteriorate from there. When the dog's owner is found dead, chaos ensues. Walton must do everything in his power to ensure the safety of all three of them.
