Turns out dragons are real.

I had no idea that the lava rock I threw into the firepit was actually an egg. I was amazed when it hatched to reveal a reptile with a huge appetite. It was cute at first, until it started talking.

This bossy little creature thinks it can boss me around. It claims to be a dragon and says it wants to rule the world once it grows strong enough. I say go for it - can't do worse than our current politicians.

His plans for world domination have hit a snag though. My little guy, who complains that I'm not treating him right, is wanted by the government - at least that's what the goons who showed up at my place said. I'm not sure I believe them. Even if they are telling the truth, I'm not giving up my new pet. But how is a tattoo artist like me supposed to keep a dragon safe? The local pet shop owner, the handsome Maddox, has some ideas, but my dragon isn't exactly excited about running away.

Can I protect my dragon from those who want to steal him for their own gain? And if we have to run, will Maddox come with us? I need all the help I can get figuring out life with a dragon.

Humans. They've gotten arrogant since my mom laid my egg. The female I've taken control of has a lot to learn before she's suitable for serving me.

So much to teach her, starting with proper meals. She tried to feed me bugs like I'm just a regular lizard! Then she left me alone to work - once I build my hoard, she'll be all mine. I've allowed her to be distracted by the male, only because he will serve me too, sooner than he realizes, especially since my enemies are getting closer.

But they'll see that a dragon, even a new hatchling, is a force to be reckoned with. And if you mess with those I've claimed, you'll face my fury!
