Timber has finally realized his lifelong dream of opening an animal refuge, known as the Haven. It is a peaceful sanctuary, hidden away from the chaos of society, where both he and the animals he rescues can find comfort and tranquility.

Despite being a loner by choice, Timber's heart is filled with joy each time he saves an animal in need. Little did he know that he would form unexpected friendships and be inundated with animals seeking refuge right from the very first day.

When Tiffany, a local veterinarian, learns about the opening of the new rescue, she is overjoyed. Always on the lookout for foster homes, she sees a new opportunity to collaborate with the reserved owner. Despite Timber's preference for animals over people, there is a spark between them that Tiffany is determined to nurture and bridge the gap between them.

As the rescue grows and flourishes, Timber starts to sense a growing tension. There are those who are not supportive of his mission, and some are openly hostile.
