The guidelines for the summer book club are quite straightforward:

• No books with sad endings
• No stress allowed
• Definitely yes to wine!

Longtime friends Laurel and Paris are thrilled to have Cassie join them this year. The theme of the book club is all about heartwarming stories that provide a break from the busyness of daily life - managing a business, raising kids, and juggling countless tasks. Even their beloved dog adds to the chaos (but he's the best boy).

Since her divorce, Laurel has been plagued with feelings of inadequacy as a mother. Her distrust of men may have left emotional scars on her daughters. Cassie, on the other hand, tends to fall for unreliable men who dump her once she helps them improve. Paris, however, believes in the existence of good men but is still recovering from driving away the one man who was bold - and perhaps foolish - enough to marry her.

Empowered by the bravery of fictional heroines who pursue their dreams, Laurel, Paris, and Cassie start taking risks - major risks - in both their personal and romantic lives. Embracing the unknown future can be daunting. Yet, it can also be invigorating, if only they have the courage to embrace change.
