There is an intruder in your family… and he is slowly taking over.

Paul insists he is only here to assist, working on behalf of a charity for vulnerable individuals to help out elderly widow Gwen with odd jobs. However, Connie, Gwen’s daughter, cannot shake the feeling that something is off about Paul right from the start. He seems excessively kind, overly involved… What's more, Gwen appears to be enchanted by him.

Connie is not pleased with a stranger interrupting the safe routine she has established around Gwen. She enjoys being the one Gwen relies on for cooking, cleaning, and companionship. Yet, with each visit from Paul, Gwen becomes more dependent on him. When he conveniently finds himself without a place to stay and moves in, Connie is convinced that he is attempting to push her out completely.

Although Connie is determined to expose Paul, it becomes a battle of words, with others questioning whether she has lost touch with reality. As events spiral out of control, Connie must decide whether to confront Paul head-on and risk losing Gwen forever, or if this has been his plan all along.
