About the book
Charcuterie chef Katie Aubrey is thrilled to be asked to create charcuterie boards for the summer fashion show at the prestigious Hidden Boulders Community in Cave Creek. However, her biggest challenge isn't crafting the intricate cured meat and cheese platters, but rather, figuring out how to handle Edith Ellory, the irritating food critic ghost who constantly bothers her while she's working. Unfortunately, this becomes the least of her concerns when the fashion show coordinator is discovered dead in the food pavilion with a handful of Katie's pancetta rosettes.
Toxicology reports reveal food poisoning as the cause of death, leading to suspicions falling on Katie's charcuterie shop, even though there's no evidence of foul play in any of the other meats.
To make matters worse, the victim had a contentious history with one of Katie's employees. In order to protect her shop's reputation and clear her employee's name, Katie must trade in her white apron for some sturdy walking shoes before she becomes the next target.
