About the book

Sally Muccio, a full-time baker and part-time detective, is looking forward to her first cruise with her family and friends. She and her coworker Josie have been hired to create desserts for the mortuary event on board, which her father is hosting. They are also excited for some relaxation and fun in the sun.

However, their cruise takes a dark turn when the body of the galley director Sarah Leigh Walker is found in the freezer. To make matters worse, Sal's rival, Nicoletta Gavelli, is accused of the crime after a heated argument with the victim.

Despite their rocky history, Sal is convinced of Nicoletta's innocence and is determined to prove it. With the real killer still at large, Sal and Josie must work quickly to solve the mystery before it's too late for Nicoletta.
