About the book

Jack Blackjack, a skilled thief, awakens in the courtyard of a tavern in London, feeling the pounding in his head from a night of heavy drinking. His knife is stained with blood, and next to him lies a lifeless body of a stranger. While Jack admits to robbery, he is adamant that he did not commit murder.

Unfortunately, the victim's possession holds something far more valuable than mere coins. With all fingers pointing towards Jack as the killer, he must evade capture as every citizen in the city is on the lookout for him. With roads blocked by a rebel army and city gates heavily guarded, Jack is trapped within London.

Desperate to clear his name, Jack must outsmart his pursuers and find the true culprit before it's too late.
