About the book

Quinton was a patient at Hathaway House during its inaugural year. As she recovered and pursued a career in law, she encountered physical setbacks due to pushing herself too hard. During a visit to see her brother Stan, who is now a patient at the center, Quinton collapses from a long-standing issue that has become acute. After consulting with Dani and Shane, Quinton is readmitted to Hathaway House for a short-term stay.

Stan is deeply concerned for Quinton, an old friend whose progress he has observed since the early days of the center. Despite harboring feelings for her, Stan had resigned himself to missing his chance with Quinton. With her return as a patient, he sees an opportunity to rekindle a personal connection, which he eagerly seizes.

Amidst her brother's struggles at the center and her own challenges in recovery, Quinton is fortunate to have the support of Stan and other familiar faces as she works towards rebuilding her life in every aspect.
