About the book
1894. The British Museum is shocked by the death of Professor Lance Pickering in a gentlemen's convenience cubicle, with the stall locked from the inside. Professor Pickering was set to give a talk on the museum's new 'Age of King Arthur' exhibition when he was brutally stabbed. Daniel Wilson, known for his work on the Jack the Ripper case alongside Inspector Abberline, is brought in to investigate the locked cubicle murder. He is joined by archaeologist Abigail Fenton, combining their skills to solve the mystery.
As they delve deeper, another tragedy strikes the museum, increasing the pressure on Wilson and Fenton to solve the case quickly. With reporters, vandals, and a zealous society complicating their investigation, the duo must race against time to catch a vengeful killer and protect the museum's reputation.
