Landon has been through a lot, supporting his navy friend in his final years. Now, he's in need of a break. His plan to track down a War Dog named Chica with his three Chihuahuas in tow seems like the perfect getaway. The only problem is, Chica has a lame leg and half a paw, making the search a difficult one. Chica went missing on the way to a rescue in Canada, adding to the challenge.

Sabrina, on the other hand, has always had a soft spot for animals and has spent years volunteering at a vet clinic. When she hears about Landon's mission to find the missing War Dog, she can't help but offer her assistance. Little does she know, their search will lead to some dangerous situations, putting her life at risk. But with Landon by her side, she feels safer than ever.
