Embarking on a journey abroad is a fantastic idea, especially when it involves saving an American War Dog being sent overseas. When Badger assigns Kascius to this mission, he is determined to see his brother in Scotland no matter what - well, almost. However, Kascius is adamant about avoiding the woman he once loved at all costs.

Returning home after a five-year absence is a daunting task, but everything remains the same. Liam, his middle brother, is still affectionate and devoted to the farm, while Angus, the youngest brother, seems just as carefree as he was before.

Kascius has nothing positive to say about his relationship with his mother. But when it comes to Ainsley, it's a different story. She is still the enchanting woman he had to leave behind.

Ainsley hopes that reuniting with Kascius will mend the lingering rift that has held her back from moving on. She was in a dark place during their breakup and still carries regret over how things ended. Despite the possibility of forgiveness, it seems unlikely at this point.
