About the book

As a young girl back in Ireland, Issa had developed a strong bond with the falcon her father used for his smuggling operation. Tragedy struck one night when her father and brothers were killed during a failed job. Seeking a fresh start, Issa's mother decided to immigrate to America.

In America, Issa pursued a career in environmental sciences while still maintaining her love for falconry. Not being able to find a falcon as special as the one she had in Ireland was a constant source of disappointment for her... until one fateful day when her world is turned upside down once again.

Eagle, a retired military pilot, now resides on a small ranch outside Denver, Colorado where he operates a rescue center for raptors. When a new arrival, a falcon with keen eyes, starts behaving oddly, Eagle knows that euthanasia may be the only option. However, the injured bird manages to break free before he can do so.

Despite being badly injured, the falcon mysteriously disappears into the sky only to return the next night with a beautiful woman who is also injured. The duo bring a message of death and destruction for both Eagle and Issa.
