About the book

Myrtle has made the decision that she is actually a very talented chef. She believes she is so skilled that she decides to improve her cooking abilities at a culinary school. Myrtle convinces her hesitant friend Miles to join her, as she is convinced that they both could benefit from some new ideas in the kitchen.

At the cooking school, a particularly obnoxious student enrolls and quickly annoys everyone. This troublesome student, who enjoys sharing gossip, soon realizes that what one person enjoys, another person may dislike. Myrtle and Miles must use their detective skills to uncover who has been involved in a murder before someone else becomes the victim.
