About the book

Finding a missing K9 dog is a great way to give back to both the people and the animals who have helped Cage over the years. He didn’t anticipate that his actions could potentially benefit someone else, and even himself. However, it seems likely that when he discovers the dog belongs to a little boy with spina bifida, who tragically lost his parents in a car accident, he must now rescue both the boy and his dog, who rely on each other more than ever.

Risa regrets ever parting ways with Cage, and seeing the person he has become only emphasizes what she has sacrificed. It is even more heartbreaking to realize that time has not altered their relationship. He is still the one she cares for.
