Ava Reid originally hails from Manhattan and grew up in Hoboken, just a stone's throw away across the Hudson River. However, she now resides in Palo Alto, where the sun always shines too brightly and the locals are overly hospitable. After earning a degree in political science with a concentration in religion and ethnonationalism from Barnard College, Ava has had a diverse career path, having worked for a refugee resettlement agency, a U.S. senator, and most recently, an AI robotics startup. Her debut novel, The Wolf and the Woodsman, marks her entry into the world of fiction.
