Alwyn Hamilton

Alwyn Hamilton hails from Toronto but spent her formative years shuttling between Europe and Canada before her family eventually settled in France. Growing up in a quaint town there, she may have been compelled to break out into the opening song from Beauty and the Beast if not for her complete lack of musical talent. Instead, she found solace in diving into the world of fantasy literature and being drawn to strong heroines who challenge gender norms. Leaving France behind, she pursued a degree in History of Art at Kings College, Cambridge, before finding herself working for an auction house in bustling London. Despite the impracticality of her growing collection of hardcover books, she finds herself unable to resist adding more to her library each time she moves.
