Taryn is determined to rescue two children, both with special abilities, from a greedy family member. Desperate for assistance, she turns to Levi in the hopes of finding support. Levi then directs her to Terk, who she approaches with a similar plea. In Taryn's world, anyone with similar gifts in need of help is not left behind. Discovering that these children are being taken advantage of by their own uncle only adds to the urgency.

However, the uncle, seeking to profit from these talented children, is not willing to back down without a fight, determined to bring down anyone who stands in his way.
