They say you cannot avoid your fate ... if only that were true.

Thanks to the mystical council of Marys-Whispering Falls and their magical laws, I am getting a fresh start. Without any spiritual abilities of my own, I have packed up my baking supplies, my attitude, and headed for Celestial Falls. A town without magical constraints (or so they say) and full of new opportunities. And if I have to bring a fairy god-cat with me? Fine. I can handle that.

Celestial Falls has its own allure: a charming old Victorian cottage, the perfect spot for Heavenly Desserts, and a seemingly normal community. But 'normal' is apparently not all it seems. Within days, my grand opening is interrupted by a murder-and the evidence points straight at me. So much for blending in.

Now I must rely on the wizard who followed me here (thanks a lot, Orin) and trust that my baking skills can save my aspirations-and my life. If I cannot uncover the true culprit behind the murder, the Marys might whisk me back to Whispering Falls.
