About the book

A visionary has a dream: to extend a railroad across the North American continent and through the vast Canadian Rockies. With a thousand miles of rugged land blocking the way, as well as hostile Indian tribes and outlaws who view the railroad and its builders as easy targets, the project faces numerous challenges. However, it has its own protector - Smoke Jensen.

Realizing that he cannot tackle this task alone, Smoke gathers a group of tough mountain men from the Colorado Rockies and travels to Canada. As the railroad nears Vancouver, Smoke finds himself in need of every gun available. The tracks are constantly under attack by The Midwesterners, a gang of outlaws causing chaos on both sides of the border.

With the dream of a railroad turning into a nightmare of violence and bloodshed, Smoke Jensen understands that the only way to succeed is to brave the mountains, endure the smoke of gunfire, and face a fierce battle head on.
