Embarking on a journey to the forest in search of a rare mushroom took a turn for the worse as I stumbled upon a fairy portal and fell into the arms of the dangerous and handsome Unseelie Fae prince.

Believing me to be an assassin, he is determined to eliminate me before I can prove my innocence as a biologist.

In order to entertain his people and get rid of the human he has become obsessed with, the prince challenges me to three perilous trials where only survival will grant me freedom.

My feelings of hatred and disgust suddenly shift when I lock eyes with the despicable human assassin.

She has become like a parasite in my mind, refusing to let me go.

Despite my revulsion towards humans, I am inexplicably drawn to her and the thought of touching her skin sends shivers down my spine.

Although the Unseelie Fae royals would never stoop so low, I fear that if I don't act soon, she may be the one to bring about my downfall.
