About the book

Returning to snowy Michigan just in time for the annual cherry pit spitting contest, Shiloh Bellamy is excited to have scored a booth at the Cherry Farm Market in Traverse City. This is a major accomplishment for her family farm and part of her plan to revitalize the property. However, things take a dark turn when a man competing in the contest chokes and dies in front of her.

As suspicions arise surrounding the man's death, Shiloh once again finds herself entangled in a local mystery. With her cousin's secret relationship with the victim coming to light, Shiloh fears that her hard work on the farm may be in jeopardy. With the help of her pug, Huckleberry, and a potentially more than friendly relationship with the sheriff, Shiloh sets out to clear her name and unmask the real killer.
