About the book
Five strangers find themselves thrust into a life-threatening situation in the wild, forced to participate in a deadly game. Little do they know, one of them has willingly joined the group, turning the tables on the hunters who are now the ones being hunted.
Deep within the thick jungles of Panama, a sinister blood sport is taking place where the wealthy elite hunt humans for sport. Among the unwilling participants is Professor Tyler Dawson, who is certain that his dark past has finally caught up with him. However, he soon discovers that he is not the only one with a troubled history, as his fellow captives include dangerous criminals and a mysterious individual with ulterior motives.
As the deadly game plays out, Dawson comes to realize that there is more at stake than just survival. It becomes apparent that someone has orchestrated his involvement in the game for a specific reason, and in order to make it out alive, he must do more than just endure the challenges of the next 48 hours. With sixteen miles of treacherous terrain standing between him and freedom, Dawson must navigate the dangers of the jungle while grappling with his inner demons and deciding who he can trust among his fellow players, who may be just as hazardous as their pursuers.
